7.1 - Regional Product and Experience Development
The purpose of this grant was to provide funding assistance to projects that are market ready and able to improve visitation in regions and across the state.
There were two rounds of Product and Experience Development grants as follows:
• Round one opened 24 November 2006, closed 25 January 2007
• Round two opened 30 July 2007, closed 19 October 2007 (outcomes to be announced by Minister mid February 2008).
Over the two rounds, a total of 81 applications for funding were received totaling over $13 million. Applications were assessed in accordance with governance guidelines. 14 projects were successful totaling $2,187,588 in grant funding.
